Carl and Grisel have been married for 28 years, raising five children and welcoming four grandchildren. They currently live in Nashville, Tennessee. While they've launched most of their kids into the world, they continue homeschooling their youngest. Their journey has been shaped by pursuit of biblical principles, experiencing its blessings in marriage and parenting, but also the challenges of spiritual warfare that come along with it.
Together, they’ve counseled countless families, organized large community outreaches, and carry a deep passion for bringing biblical truth and practical wisdom to restore broken families. Their children serve the Lord with the passion and talents God has given them, each having their own ministry to reach others.

Carina is married to Rory and has an adopted child. She began fostering at 22, driven by her passion for children and families. After working for various Christian nonprofits, she is now supporting women in birth and breastfeeding. She considers motherhood her highest calling and values holistic health.
Carlos is married to Cameryn, and they have three young children. He is a producer, videographer, photographer, and graphic designer in the nonprofit sector. He helps ministries through branding and storytelling, focusing on pro-life, addiction recovery, and faith-based political advertising.
Michael is a music producer, who works primarily in the Sync and Christian music space. He also builds acoustic treatment for other producers and engineers in Nashville. He is a talented musician who plays multiple instruments and serves the church on the worship team.
Gabriela is an email marketer. She uses her passion of theology and history to bring light to the culture war against Gen Z by speaking biblical truth to her generation through her podcast, For the Record with Alex, on YouTube. She is also a drummer, who uses her talent to serve the church.
Eliana is a teenage girl with a vibrant personality, who has never met a stranger. She is known for her big smile and the joy she brings others. She is currently in eighth grade and is a talented baker, cook and all around artist. She loves God and loves others well.
Together, Carlos and Michael are the artists that make up the band, One Common. They encourage their followers through their original God-glorifying music, and their fun, creative content found on their social media platforms, which collectively they’ve grown to over 600k followers in two years.
